We recommend booking at least 30–60 days in advance, especially for Dhikala Zone and peak season (October–June). Government-issued safari permits are strictly quota-based — once the daily permit limit for a zone is exhausted, no additional entry is possible. For the Christmas and New Year period (Dec 24–Jan 2) and the April–May peak, we advise booking 90 days ahead. We handle all permit procurement on your behalf.

No reputable operator can guarantee a tiger sighting — these are wild animals in a 1,318 sq. km forest. However, Corbett consistently records the highest tiger sighting probability among India's tiger reserves. Our experienced naturalists, with 15+ years of tracking expertise, dramatically improve your odds. On average, 60–70% of our Dhikala safaris record tiger sightings during peak season. Even without a tiger, every Corbett safari is rich with incredible wildlife — elephants, leopards, hundreds of birds, and much more.

Wear neutral, earth-tone clothing (khaki, olive, brown, grey) — avoid bright colours and white, which can startle wildlife. Long sleeves and trousers are advisable for sun protection and insect cover. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and a light fleece or jacket for early morning safaris (it gets cold before sunrise even in summer). Binoculars (8×42 recommended), a camera with a telephoto lens, and a water bottle are essential. We provide a welcome kit with insect repellent and a basic first-aid kit.

Absolutely. Jim Corbett is excellent for families. Children above 5 years can join jeep safaris. Our guides are experienced in making the experience engaging for young wildlife enthusiasts, with interactive wildlife journals and age-appropriate explanations. For elderly guests, we use vehicles with easy step-in access and arrange resorts with accessible amenities. Please inform us of any mobility requirements or health conditions when booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.

By Train: Ramnagar Railway Station is the closest railhead, well-connected to Delhi, Moradabad, and Bareilly. The Ranikhet Express from Delhi Anand Vihar overnight is the most popular option. By Road: 260 km from Delhi (~5.5 hours via NH9 and Moradabad). By Air: Pantnagar Airport (80 km) has limited flights from Delhi; Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport (180 km) has more connectivity. We arrange comfortable AC vehicle transfers from all these points — just ask when booking.

Cancellations made 30+ days before arrival receive a 100% refund (less payment gateway charges). 15–30 days before: 75% refund. 7–14 days before: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: no refund on permits (non-refundable from the Forest Department), partial refund on accommodation. Cancellations due to park closure (heavy rain, government orders) receive a full credit or rescheduling. We recommend travel insurance for all bookings.
